About the job

Would you like to actively shape the future of digital learning while still studying to become a teacher? As a Working Student in Primary Education German & DaZ at sofatutor, you’ll help create and develop engaging digital learning content for primary school students – creatively, practically, and in close collaboration with an experienced team.


📍 100% remote (within Germany) | ⏳ 15–20 hours/week

Your Mission

You'll be a full member of our Primary Education Content Team – fully involved from day one. You'll contribute to the development of high-quality digital materials and collaborate closely with our in-house editorial team. Your responsibilities:

  • Didactic content creation: You’ll plan and produce learning materials based on sound subject knowledge – including for our educational game Sofaheld, spelling and grammar trainers, and school-specific content.

  • Independent work: You’ll prioritize your tasks autonomously while aligning with project and company goals.

  • Shaping processes: You’ll contribute ideas and help improve existing workflows and team practices.

  • Collaborative teamwork: You’ll work closely with permanent editors and be fully integrated into the Content Team.

  • Future-oriented learning: You’ll be involved in developing innovative, AI-assisted, adaptive learning tools in a digital education environment.

Your Profile

You’re passionate about primary education and want to apply your skills in a digital context? Ideally, you bring the following:

  • Ongoing or advanced teacher training program with a focus on German for primary school

  • Initial teaching or tutoring experience, preferably including expertise in German as a Second Language (DaZ)

  • Excellent command of German, both written and spoken

  • Didactic intuition and motivation to design digital learning content

  • A structured and self-reliant work style

  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, eagerness to learn, and creativity
